Solved? The Sacremento Exploding UFO

Recently a video surfaced showing what looked to be an unidentified object exploding in the atmosphere. The video was filmed through a telescope, that had narrowly missed being sold on craigslist only days before. Elijah Prychodzko videotaped the bright circular object through his telescope over Sacramento on Dec. 20, 2012. It wasn't long before  explanations began rolling in for the possible identity of the object. Many experts could not identify what this phenomenon was.
Theories ranged from ufo, to secret military operations. Some even suggested that we had norrowly missed being hit by a "Doomsday Rock" that was destroyed by the military. However, the most interesting theory has now surfaced and is being accepted as the explanation for the event.. A weather balloon. Footage of other weather balloons disentegrating seem to add credibility to this final and official explanation.
Maybe it was indeed a weather balloon, but ever since the Battle of Los Angeles in 1942, those pesky weather balloons have caused quite a bit of stir and managed to pull off some fantastic aerial feats. Recently, experiments have shown that the governments explanation of what happened that fateful night in 1942 was most likely not a weather balloon, shattering over half a century of lies. Do you think that we will learn the same about this event? Or is it really just an exploding weather balloon?
